2008

JANUARY
Rally's puppies are here! 1 boy and 4 girls! We are very exicted to see how they
will turn out. We are keeping first pick female. Second pick and so on are up for grabes!
Mimi's puppies are all sold, we are keeping little Tess to see how she turns out. We have also decided to hold on to Twister's pup who we are going to call Moses.
We are waiting now for Rally to have her babies. That isn't going to be to long now. We hope you all have a great New Year! 2007

December
Christmas will be here before we know it! Mimi's puppies are so much fun. We have new pictures of them on New Pups Page.
We had a surprise! Actually he was more of a miricle baby.
Twister had "A" puppy!
I thought maybe she had been bred, didn't actually see the consemation, so I was just going off of maybe!
I had put her by her self when I thought she might be in heat.
Twister is getting up there in age, and she had Lyme this summber and almost died! Thanks to Karen McCarthy she didn't!
I never thought Twister would even conceive being the age she was and how sick she had been.
I put it in God's hands, if she was bred, then it was God's doing.
Well, on Thursday December 13,2007; Twister gave birth to this beautiful little boy.

If this little man would have been a girl,we would be keeping it; but since it is a boy and we don't need any boys he is going to be available with breeding rights and maybe a puppy back some day. He is going to be the last pup from Twister. He has awesome bloodlines!

November

Mimi had her puppies right on Due date. We have 4 beutiful puppies. 2 males and 2 females. We had deposits on two male puppies before they were ever born. We are going to keep a female. I will post pictures soon.

We also did an outside breed to Hidden Acres Queen LaTifa. She was bred to Meadowlake Gigolo. This is a re-peat breeding.I will post more information on this breding on the Available page

October

We are back from nationals. Had a ball!
Tubby didn't make a peep while on the airplane. Most of the passengers didn't know we even had pups on board.
Tubby competed in the 6 to 9 month, rough and broken coat, dog class. There 20 dog pups in this class. I couldn't believe all of the dogs that walked in.
Tubby walked in so proud. He would have made his daddy so proud. He stacked up like a pro. This was Tubby's second time showing, he placed 3rd ! Yippy! I was so emotional. I couldn't hold back the tears when I walked out of the show ring. Third and he was our own breeding, second generation breeding. I can't wait to get him in the field and see if he hunts like his daddy did. If he does, watch out! He will be a do it all dog.

Mimi's puppies are due in a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see them.

It is definatly fall time around here. The farmers are busy combining and the leaves are turning beautiful colors.
Nationals is this month and I'm excited about going.
Some very sad new, Our old Tuffy dog passed away today. 10/14/07
I knew Tuf wasn't going to be with us to many more years, but I didn't expect him to go now.
We have tought about changing Tubby's name to Tuffy in honor of old Tuffy. Tubby is the only pup we kept back out of Tuffy. I'm taking Tubby to nationals.
I wanted him to do well before, but it means even more to me now.

Tuff was such a goof. We have so many happy, fond memories of him.
I can remember the day he go into a cat fat with a black cat. Tuffy was scratched really bad in his eye.
We thought he would go blind. He was our house dog while his eye injury healed, and we'd dress him up in a silly had. He looked like a old hillbilly. He will be missed.
I hope he is with his old kennel mate Patsy, and their daughter Alex.

WOW! How time flys by.
Here it is fall time. Kids are back into school and time to get the routine down.
But along with fall comes hunting!
We have been out a few time, but have not found anything home as of yet. I can't wait for us to find some thing. The boys were given some very nice hunting equipment and they can't wait to use them.
Fall time also means "Nationals".
I'm getting to go this year! Yeahaw!
It's been quite a few years since I've made the trip to Maryland. It's going to be a lot of fun. I'm taking along some very good friends that have never been there before.
I'm going to take Hidden Acres Tel-A-Tubby. He really isn't Tubby anymore, but that name just stuck. Wish us luck!
